NACAC 2017

Carlow University is located in the midst of Pittsburgh’s “Eds, Meds and Tech” district. Find your drive at Carlow At Carlow University, our students tell us they want to do good — and do well. Make a meaningful difference — and have a successful career. We call that values-driven and career-focused. Something unique drew Katie Crawford to Carlow’s art program. Only at Carlow could she study traditional art — but also immerse herself in graphic design, thanks to our partnership with the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Katie also added a creative writing minor, combining all her passions. The best part? She was constantly challenged — but within the supportive environment and small class sizes of a valuesdriven university. “My Carlow experience taught me how to deal with fellow humans,” she said. “To understand the world Katie Crawford, BA, Art and Graphic Design, 2009. the way it is now and what happened 100 years ago. It informs everything I do.” Carlow graduates like Katie are driven to make a difference in their own lives and the lives of others. Driven to be a success in the workplace and in the world. Our 11-to-1 student-to-faculty ratio means our professors truly encourage and guide our students. And our location in the midst of Pittsburgh’s “Eds, Meds and Tech” district means there are countless opportunities for internships and experiential learning within walking distance. Check out carlow.edu/admissions for details about tours, overnight visits, classes, professors, organizations and to ask questions of our students and admissions officers.
