GLASS & ETHNIC FESTIVAL
Sept. 27-29: Be a part of this annual street
festival, and celebrate the area’s glass-making
history and ethnic diversity. Free admission. Fun
for all ages! Contests, crafts, jewelry, clothing
and a parade down Main Street at 2 p.m.
Saturday. Fireworks spectacular Sunday night.

FESTA ITALIANA DI VANDERGRIFT
Aug. 11: Celebrate your Italian-American
heritage by understanding the culture and values.
Learn how Italian immigrants were assimilated
into American culture. Now in its 16th year, the
festival has traditional fair food and more with
pasta fagioli, pizzas, pastas and other delicious

DELMONT APPLE ’N ARTS FESTIVAL
Oct. 5 and 6: Tons of craft and food vendors
bring in more than 25,000 visitors each year. The
annual festival includes train rides, pony rides and
a petting zoo. Festival hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Attendance
is free. Live entertainment, family fun and

LIGONIER HIGHLAND GAMES
Sept. 14 and 15: Follow the bagpipes to
Idlewild Park for the annual event and celebrate
all things Scottish. Piping, athletic events, Gaelic
Mod singing and more. Adults: $20 Saturday, $10
Sunday; Seniors 55+: $18 Saturday, $8 Sunday;
Youth 13-17: $10 Saturday, $5 Sunday; Free
admission for 12 and younger. Two-day passes

MURRYSVILLE CONCERT IN THE PARK
Aug. 10: Head to Murrysville Community
Park to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Woodstock
with music from Jenkins and Crum, Elias
Khouri, The Tim Woods Band and The Granati
Brothers. The event is from 3 to 9 p.m. Wear
your tye-dye and enjoy sumptuous food vendors,
beverages from Helltown Brewery and Bushy Run
Winery, kids’ activities, games, a cornhole tournament
