I then plan to attend graduate school to obtain a master’s degree in applied math-ematics and computational science. With these degrees, I plan to become an applied mathematician in the Air Force, following in the footsteps of my oldest brother. I will work toward my dream of earning a position at NASA as a mathematician. Once I have a stable career and a husband, I hope to start a family of little mathematicians. Goals: I plan on shadowing more professionals in the medical field this summer and studying in a physician assistant program in college starting in the fall of 2017. I hope to work in emergency medicine when I graduate from the program. My goal is to show compassion to those I treat so that they feel respected and appreciated as both a patient and an individual. Depending on which college I attend, I also aspire to continue playing volleyball. Goals: I am currently evaluating four-year college offers while also consid-ering and researching the possibility of a year of service with Americorps. Long term, I would like to become an Immigration Lawyer. I also would like to start a nonprofit for immigrants seeking advocacy, legal advice and jobs. Immigrant aid organizations play an important role in helping immigrants. I feel the best way to accomplish this is through a four-year degree and to attend law school.
