Heritage Realty American 25 Ye ars Century 21 Celebrates - 2017 1992 CENTURY 21 American Heritage Realty started as the Lasher Agency in 1918. It began as a small real estate and insurance company that served the Alle-Kiski Valley region with a dedication to building relationships with clients that would last a lifetime. In 1980 the Lasher Agency joined the CENTURY 21 team, the same year Janet Ryan was licensed as a real estate professional. When Janet Ryan joined the agency in 1985 as a broker/ manager, the expansion began. Janet was a record setting salesperson for the newly named Stein-Lasher agency and she moved on to purchase the business in 1992. Under Janet’s leadership the small neighborhood realty office took on a new direction. While maintaining its small town values of personal customer service, the business grew with over 55 agents in three different offices around the region, Lower Burrell, Allegheny Township and Sarver. The business also expanded to include mortgage services, Commonwealth Evaluation and Century Settlement Services. Janet’s accomplishments in the industry include the prestigious REALTOR® of the Year Award for the Greater Allegheny Kiski Area Board of REALTORS, Past President of the GAKA Board, current Board of Director of the Westmoreland West Association of REALTORS and being named one of Pennsylvania’s top 50 Business Women of the Year by Governor Tom Ridge, to name just a few.
