Pittsburgh, PA 15227 Environmentally Safe, Full-Service Dry Cleaning for Home and Fashion Spartan Pharmacy Since 1935 adno=6445861 Spartan Pharmacy did it again, winning the 2017 Trib Total Media Readers’ Choice Award. It has become something of an annual tradition, at least for those who work and shop at Spartan Pharmacy. I want to credit my staff for winning this award again. We will be open for thirteen years this May, and over these thirteen years we have grown and developed into a caring, efficient group who are always putting the customer first. My job is to provide the staff the tools to accomplish this mission, including automation, cutting edge software, and a robust inventory.They are then able to take advantage of these tools and focus on the customers’ needs. Let’s be honest here…you are not in a pharmacy because you want to be.We understand that, and want to make sure that your visit is as pleasant and quick as possible. It’s the simple things that we do, like stocking a specific manufacturer’s liquid antibiotics because we know it tastes better, or automatically ordering in an item before the customer runs out so that it’s in stock when they need it. For those of us who need help staying organized, it’s automated text messages reminding customers when a prescription is due to be filled or a reminder that one is waiting to be picked up. The South Hills of Pittsburgh has been very generous to us over the years, and it’s nice to see these rewards each year. It tells me that people recognize how hard we work for them.We also pride ourselves in giving back to that very same community. Spartan Pharmacy sponsors numerous school activities, yearbooks, local youth sports teams, and is a major donor to the Drop the Puck on Cancer event, held in Brentwood every spring. You don’t see the chain drug stores doing that, either. We would love to see some new faces in our stores. If you have not been in before, give us a try.
