So bring on the phone calls and

said.
When it comes to planning outdoor
fall weddings, couples naturally worry
about the remote chance of inclement
weather, so make sure venues offer
Plan B contingencies.
October is apparently the driest
month in Atlanta, according to Warren.
For fall color fanatics, Oct. 14 to
Nov. 18 guarantees the most “brilliant”
hues, she said.
“We don’t even utter the four-letter
word that starts with R,” she said.
“If it does (rain), we have our covered
deck or inside the lodge in front of
our stone fireplace.”

glorious food and ensuring that guests
aren’t treated to a requisite chicken dinner,

Food is a selling point at the
Vecoma, whether it’s chicken and waffle
brunches or Italian and Cajun feasts in
the evening.
And the gourmet food, from tri tip
to halibut, provided by the caterer at
Rancho de las Palmas in Moorpark, Calif.,
a private estate nestled among 420
tropical acres with waterfalls, a lake and
a pepper-tree-lined driveway, is a hit
among customers, said Laura Schneider,
wedding coordinator for the facility.
