A MESSAGE FROM MARK BAER
President of the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealer Association
As President of the GPADA, I thank you, on behalf of our entire dealer association for attending the 2018 Pittsburgh
International Auto Show. Our show is the largest four day public show in Pittsburgh. We strive to make the Auto
Show family friendly and affordable.
There are so many things to see and do -including celebrity appearances and team mascots, interactive simulators,
balloon art, face painting, “Honest Abe” Lincoln, and more!
But, we have topped it all this year! In addition to having every new car/truck and SUV on the market on display,
we are welcoming back our GALLERIA EXOTICA! This time, we are featuring a rare 1,200 horsepower Hennessey
Venom GT, and the 2018 Lamborghini Huracan Performante! Each day, these two exotic show stoppers, will rev their
engines at 11am and 5pm in our brand new DYNAMIC DUEL event!
We are proud of how our Auto Show has grown, and will continue our promise to serve our valued customers, and
provide support for local charities.
Thank you for making the 2018 Pittsburgh International Auto show one of your yearly family events.
Enjoy the show!
A MESSAGE FROM CATHERINE GLASGOW
Chair of the 2018 Pittsburgh International Auto Show
As the Chair of the 2018 Pittsburgh International Auto Show, I would like to welcome you to this year’s event. The
members of the Greater Automobile Dealers Association are proud to offer an exciting line up of many makes and
models all in the comfort and convenience of a 72-degree environment.
This is the 74th year for this event and is the highest attended four-day show held at the Pittsburgh Convention
Center. We are extremely grateful for the support our manufacturers, corporate sponsors and members provide.
Each year we strive to add new and exciting attractions to the show. Back by popular demand is our Galleria Exotica
featuring offerings from Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren, and Aston Martin!
FORD is revealing the industry’s First Police Pursuit-Rated Pickup Truck -THE F-150 POLICE RESPONDER, and Ford’s
Driving Skills for Life will be simulating driver impairment demonstrations.
I would personally like to thank the team from the GPADA for their hard work and dedication in making this year’s
show the best ever. The dealer members of the Association are proud to team up once again with the Pittsburgh
Vintage Grand Prix as Presenting Sponsor. Proceeds from this year’s Dancing with the Cars charity preview will benefit
the Autism Society of Pittsburgh and Allegheny Valley School.
Thank you all for attending the 2018 Pittsburgh International Auto Show. Enjoy!
A MESSAGE FROM JOHN PUTZIER
CEO of the Greater Pittsburgh Automobile Dealer Association
Welcome BACK to the Pittsburgh International Auto Show! I say welcome BACK because there is a good chance
you’ve been here before! The auto show has become a Pittsburgh tradition for many families, and if you look around,
you will see multi-generations of attendees, perhaps including yourself. We always hear things like “my dad always
took me to the auto show” or “my grandpa took me to my first auto show” etc.
The best thing about the auto-show being a family tradition is that it proves that it is even more than an auto show.
It’s an experience! We strive to make the show not only fun and exciting, even for non-car buffs, but also affordable.
Cheaper than a movie, and the floors aren’t sticky! In fact, they’re carpeted!
So enjoy the show, and stop by the show office and let us know how we are doing, and even how we can do better!
We’re always looking for new ways to keep the auto show fresh and fun!
