SPRING COLLEGE &
EDUCATION GUIDE2021
Be a part of something real
When students attend Westminster College, they become
“a part of something real.” Westminster College – a
nationally recognized liberal arts college located in New
Wilmington, Pa. — takes pride in the transformative educational
experience it offers students. There’s a college
degree, then there’s a Westminster College degree.
What sets Westminster apart? Every student in every
program — including our students who design their own
majors — receives an education that is hands-on, collaborative,
and affordable.
At Westminster, real experiences lead to real
success. With over 50 majors and professional programs,
Westminster students are prepared for thousands of
successful careers. Over 90 percent of our students have
professional work experiences before graduation. Additionally,
we’re in the top 5 percent nationally for
student participation in hands-on experiences,
like internships, research, study abroad, service
and leadership. These hands-on experiences
help students discern their future
career paths and build their resumés.
Collaboration can be found in and out of
the classroom at Westminster. With an average
class size of 17, students will know their professors
and their classmates. In fact, our students and faculty do
so much amazing work together that we created and annual
event, the Undergraduate Research & Arts Celebration,
to showcase their accomplishments. Westminster
students work together and support each other, too. Our
80+ clubs and organizations, as well as 22 varsity sports,
give our students the opportunity to develop the collaborative
and leadership skills that will prepare them for
success after graduation.
But this outstanding private education isn’t out of
reach. As a top 25 “Best Value in the Nation,” Westminster
College has been nationally recognized for making
our tremendous education experience affordable. Our
students receive personal attention and hands-on experiences,
but most spend about the same amount out of
pocket that they would have at a flagship state university.
Merit-based scholarship packages range from $12,000 to
full tuition — and 100 percent of degree-seeking undergraduates
are offered tuition assistance.
Westminster students find real success on campus and
after graduation. There’s never been a better time to be a
part of something real.
