SETON HILL UNIVERSITY
EXPANDS BUSINESS SCHOOL PROGRAM
The Business School at Seton Hill is dedicated to developing forward-thinking, ethical and
innovative business leaders who cherish and are driven by the heritage of Saint Elizabeth Ann
Seton: to respect the dignity of all people, appreciate diversity, embrace change and build
sustainable businesses, organizations and communities that serve all.
To support these goals, the Business School has added new bachelor’s degrees and certi cate
programs to its Business School offerings. New degrees in accounting, accounting - CPA,
nance, nancial economics, business management, business communication, human resource
management, marketing, sports management and international business join an existing program
in communication. The communication program has added seven areas of specialization:
advocacy and nonpro t, business writing, ethics and leadership, instructional design, mass and
broadcast media, public relations and social media, and sports communication.
At the master’s level, Seton Hill’s Business School offers a robust online MBA Program with
several career-relevant areas of focus: forensic accounting and fraud examination, healthcare
administration, management and project management.
Many Seton Hill business students take advantage of the FastForward Bachelor’s to Master’s MBA
Program. By enrolling in this program as undergrads, they can earn their bachelor’s and MBA at
Seton Hill in an accelerated time frame. Plus, they can pay the undergrad tuition rate for some of
their master’s courses. This is the route taken by recent alumnus Michael Metosky, who earned
his sports management bachelor’s and MBA at Seton Hill. Soon after graduating, he applied for a
highly-competitive position with the Miami Dolphins and got it.
Metosky had struggled in high school, but received support from the faculty and student support
services at Seton Hill, who, he says, “invested a ton of time in me.”
“I just didn’t see my own promise,” he said. “Seton Hill opened a lot of doors and windows for me.”
The School of Business at Seton Hill University has received specialized accreditation for its
business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education
(IACBE). Seton Hill has also been named a College of Distinction in Business by Colleges of
Distinction. To learn more, visit setonhill.edu/business.
