The purpose of the support group is to discuss related experiences, share ideas, and provide emotional sup-port for one another. A speaker from the Alzheimer’s Association will provide a brief education on managing behaviors related to Alzheimer’s and dementia. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while- watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
