Thank You for Voting Us the Best Credit Union
Seven Years in a Row.
The words Communication, Responsibility and Advocacy are not words
eagerly used by consumers regarding Financial Institutions. This is the
foundation that the Elliott Community Federal Credit Union has been built
on since 1935.
In the beginning, Tommy Smith helped start our credit union with fifty cent
contributions from the earliest members. Through the years, there have
been many momentous changes. One of our biggest changes took place
in April 2015, when we were granted our Community Charter. Thus, we
now can offer our services to anyone who lives, works or attends school or
church in Westmoreland County.
During 2016, we began remodeling 631 North Main Street, Greensburg
in anticipation of it becoming our Greensburg Branch. We have chosen
to repurpose the building from a longtime family home into a financial
institution. This is a full-service location to service the needs of our
members. With this location, we have gone the eco-friendly route using
repurposed supplies. This office is now open for anyone that lives, works,
worships, or attends school in Westmoreland County. Elliott Community
Federal Credit Union offers College Student Financial Packages. Stop in
our new location for more information. Also, during 2017; we welcomed the
MSA Employees Federal Credit Union into our Family. Expanding our footstep
into five convenient locations.
Opening this branch, we hope to “Make our House your Financial Home”.
Stop by and see how we may assist you in achieving your financial goals.
Levin Furniture
Levin’s focus is on their customers

Furniture Store
If you haven’t been to Levin Furniture and Mattress lately, you’ll want to stop in and check out the new
merchandise. 2018 has been a year of change for your local furniture store, who will be celebrating
its 100 year anniversary in 2020. Soon Levin’s will open its 36th showroom in Niles, Ohio, extending
the company’s footprint from Southwestern PA to the Ohio River Valley in Southeastern Ohio and all of
Northeastern Ohio including Canton, Akron, Cleveland, Youngstown and their surrounding areas.
Levin’s focus on their customer and the in-store experience has become even more important than
ever before. “Our customers have made us who we are today,” said Levin’s executive vice president
and general manager Chris Pelcher.
After the sale late last fall, Levin’s added new top-of-the-line brand names to its assortment with
La-Z-Boy, Natura and Laura Ashley. The company remains adamant about providing the best selection
at competitive prices with special attention to exceptional customer service. As always, Levin’s
will continue its long history of supporting the communities in which they work and live with their
donations of time and money to local causes, as well as their dedication to being an environmentally
responsible neighbor.
Last year, Levin’s recycled more than 2 million pounds of cardboard, plastic, paper, Styrofoam,
metal, wood and batteries. Additionally, the company harnesses clean solar energy when possible
and chooses energy efficient vehicles, equipment, ventilation, light bulbs, programmable thermostats,
motion sensor lighting and green cleaning products among others.
An extension of that dedication to “community” is the company’s decision to carry an even better
variety of American-made furniture. Shoppers will find solid wood bedrooms made in Virginia and
Vermont; dining sets hand-crafted in Ohio Amish country; upholstered furniture constructed in Iowa
as well as brand name mattresses like Sealy, Serta, Stearns and Foster, Tempur-pedic and Levin’s
exclusive Grand Legacy mattresses- all made in the U.S.A.
Customers have an even better opportunity to find furniture and accessories that make their home
truly personal with expanded custom order options, unique pieces sourced from all over the world and
interior design assistance. Furniture shopping isn’t a daunting task at Levin’s. They aim to make every
showrooms experience enjoyable from start to finish and beyond.
Associates are eager to ask questions, listen and make suggestions to narrow clients’ options.
“It’s the extra attention to details that sets us apart,” said Pelcher. “Our customers notice and has
kept them coming back for almost a century. We’re invested in them, and they’ve welcomed us into
their homes in return. We don’t take that lightly.”
While some things have changed at Levin’s in 2018, much of it has remained the same, and they
are grateful for the love and support the community has given them. You’re invited to visit a Levin
showroom during their newly expanded, more convenient hours: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through
Saturday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday; or 24/7 on their full service e-commerce website
