Started in 1973, the cult-favorite sandwich shop of Clarion and Slippery Rock has made its way to the A-K Valley via owners, Patrick Fleck and James Nagle. Fleck and Nagle could not be more excited to have six locations now serving up Bob’s legendary subs. Their New Kensington and Natrona Heights shops have won the Reader’s Choice Gold Award for Best Hoagies/Subs/ Sandwiches in the A-K Valley for the third year in a row. Now, the boys’ hope is that their loyal customers will also love their newest menu option—Little Bobby’s Donuts. The idea behind the donuts was to fill what they saw as a need for a unique donut option in the area. The donut menu was crafted to be fun, colorful and, most importantly, delicious. Little Bobby’s Donuts are made fresh every day and consist of sixteen different options of craft cake donuts, including a rotating “Baker’s Choice.” In addition to the donuts, you can now order breakfast sandwiches daily from 7a.m. to 11 a.m. These amazing breakfast sandwiches are served on the same Cellone’s roll used for Bob’s legendary subs. Grabbing one of these with a coffee and a donut is the perfect way to start your day! Fleck and Nagle have made a huge effort this past year to “keep it local.” They have teamed up with Zeke’s Coffee, a favorite Pittsburgh roaster, located in East Liberty. For the boys, bringing high-quality coffee to the area was a major priority. Stop in and try one of Zeke’s legendary roasts now being served at the New Kensington, Natrona Heights, and downtown locations. They have also added Pittsburgh Pickle Company’s craft pickle spears, and the iconic Turner’s iced tea to have even more local options on their menu. As for the future, the team behind Bob’s Sub Inc. has no plans of slowing down. This includes adding donuts to the Pittsburgh Mills location in the coming weeks and opening two more locations in the greater Pittsburgh area. The boys attribute their success to having a hard-working, loyal team of employees. Above all else, they remain dedicated to bringing Bob’s legendary subs to the masses. They are motivated daily to serve the people of our area a great product at a decent price with good vibes! adno=6442860
