Betty Czekalski founded the agency in 1963 in Natrona. Ever since, it has been a family affair, with the second generation now in charge and a third generation playing significant roles in the business. And now, Mark Zeiler, becoming the fourth generation as he is working to become an appraiser. The agency has been growing since its small beginnings. Betty Czekalski moved to a larger office on Freeport Road in Natrona Heights within the first year. Eventually, she, her son,Wallace- today the CEO and her daughter-in-law, Janet purchased a former greenhouse and remodeled it into office and living quarters. The growth of the company soon forced Betty to move out to accommodate expanded office space. In 1989,Wally and Janet purchased the old Harrison Estate at 2725 Freeport Road in Natrona Heights, the agency’s current home, and converted the mansion to offices. They continue to be active in the business, as are their daughters, Christine Spece and Michelle Bradley. But it’s more than that, as it’s become one big family. Everyone associated there becomes part of the family “and all work together to serve their clients and community.”While residential listings comprise the majority of the Czekalski business, their expertise also includes transactions in farmland, commercial and industrial properties as well. “We like to say we’ve sold a property on every street in the Valley,” said Michelle Bradley, who is a full-time appraiser for the agency. Betty Czekalski died in 2009, but the family tradition of serving their neighbors and future neighbors continues. As Bradley expressed it, “it’s a family serving families that is at the heart of their business.” “We know how important (buying a house) it is for a family. It’s the biggest single financial commitment they’ll ever make,” she said. “We appreciate that people in the Valley have entrusted us to this, and that many of our clients have referred us to others. There’s no greater compliment than that. The vast majority of our business comes from referrals.” For more information, please contact: Sales: 724-226-0700 Appraisals: 724-226-0960 Visit us on the web: www.crehomes.com
