After graduating from the university in his native land, Ramazan came to Pittsburgh to study business management at Carnegie Mellon University’s grad school. And that’s where his dream began. After finishing grad school, he opened R&B’s Pizza Place on May 5, 2001, at 421 Lincoln Ave. in Bellevue and grew it into the No. 1 Pizza shop in the Northside. Known as the “Family Place,” it is the winner of three Trib Total Media Readers’ Choice Awards this year. According to Ramazan, R&B’s,uses only the best ingredients. “We use 100 percent Grande cheese, which is the best cheese available on the market.We make our dough daily and use only fresh produce.We also make our pizza sauce daily.” There’s a large menu including appetizers, salads, pizza, calzones, gyros and wraps, wings, pastas, burgers, hoagies, wedgies and a wide variety of desserts.
