that our guides exuded that made us
swoon at every turn.
The rich history of planning and
plantings was never far away as both
gardeners navigated us through an
amazing timeline of this gardening
treasure.
If I had it to do over again, I
would have scheduled an entire day
at Mount Usher Garden. The few
hours we spent there left us hungry
for more.
As the bus pulled out, I glanced
over at the rose tree and put this
place on my bucket list as a garden I
would see again some day.
The next time, though, it will be at
a slower pace and hopefully with a
cold Guinness in hand at the end of
the day to reflect on a special place
that I’ll never forget.
