The smaller companion to the GV80 utility vehicle
(introduced for 2021) joins a segment currently occupied
by the likes of the BMW X3, Lincoln Corsair and Lexus
NX. The GV70’s striking styling is accentuated by a sweptback
roofline that does impact cargo room. There’s
a beautifully sculpted and well-appointed dashboard
and floor console and a 14.5-inch touch-screen. The
base turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder puts out 300
horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque. Optional is a
twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6 with 375 horsepower and
391 pound-feet. The engines are also found in the GV80.
An eight-speed automatic transmission is standard as
is all-wheel-drive. The base GV70 comes with dual-zone
climate control, 12-way power driver’s seat with lumbar
support, eight-way passenger seat, hands-free power
liftgate, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel and a ninespeaker
audio system. The GV70 3.5T gets a panoramic
sunroof, power telescopic steering wheel, perforated
leather seat covers, ambient interior lighting and 19-inch
